Merry Fucking Christmas

My company laid off about 600 people, or about 10% of our workforce, today. Some of whom I've worked with for years. It sucks ass. I was really angry for a while. Just sort of resigned now.

Tis the Season

So, the Christmas season has started, which means I can listen to Christmas music in the office without my coworkers thinking I'm weirder than they already do. SomaFM FTW! Anyway, you might consider people who are down on their luck. Really, they can use a hand all year round, but especially in this time of overindulgence, sending a little extra to the needy seems appropriate. The SJ Mercury News has a list of charities in the SF Bay Area that you might consider helping out if you have the means and inclination.
