Fully Engaged

Noticed a smoky odor in the air on the way home tonight, which is peculiar for the summertime. As I was driving over 280 on Meridian, I noticed that one of the strip mall buildings on the left near Fruitdale (donut shop? tire store? who knows) was "fully engaged" as the fire fighting folk like to say. Several trucks there as the flames lit up the sky. Better there than my place.
