Operation: Turkey Day

Thanksgiving at the homestead was a success this year, I'm happy to report. Noelle made a turkey that was juicy and delicious. I made a couple pies that were well received. We squeezed thirteen guests into the house fairly comfortably. I think everyone had their fill (and then some) of the other yummy dishes that folks brought over. There seemed to be about ten different conversations going at the same time, which meets my metrics for determining if the party is going well. There was a bit of Rock Band after the food. And then we slept, I think. :-) It was kind of blur by then. A long day, but a good one.
