Was This Why I Left?
Ah, news from the old country. A mother in Anson, Maine helped her daughter and two teenage girls bake ex-lax cookies for her daughter's teacher. These are not usually the kind of family values one thinks of when that phrase comes up . Or should think of. Mom is in court for misdemeanor assault after several seventh and eighth grade students became ill from the cookies. Some things about Maine I don't miss at all. [article]

I'm sure there's at least one student that appreciated the exlax cookies ..
How silly. They could have just used sugar-free chocolate with a high sugar alcohol content and have a similar effect - and then if they were caught, they could just claim that they were trying to make something healthy. }:P
