Chris said...: I wish I had some better shots of the full eclipse part. It's hard to do when the light is that low. If you use high shutter speed, you don't get enough light. If you use a longer shutter speed, you get more light, but the details are blurred because the moon is moving. If you increase the ISO, you can shoot faster and get more detail, but there's more noise in the image. I need some kind of motorized drive I guess, to track the moon and whatnot.

I used the Moony 11 rule and some tweaking in Lightroom to get the first shot looking fine.; 11:17 AM
