Land of the Dead
Yeah, ok. I'd venture to say this was one of the better Romero zombie movies. Had lots of slow moving, flesh feasting zombies. Dennis Hopper as the heavy. Tom Savini reappears in another Romero movie with a cameo as the machete zombie. Not great cinema, but it met my zombie movie needs.

it wasn't tops for me but it was allright. i don't like this "big armored gunship" thing from dawn remake getting so much screentime.
also, the opening crawl could've reviewed things a bit better for folks who aren't in on the background of the saga. perhaps ten minutes spend reviewing how the zombies went form mindless in night to instinct driven in dawn to teachable and capable of independant thought in day to very aware in land.
