Man, I am impressed. Your composition and depth-of-field control make things "pop" and feel so different from my snapshots.
Why, thank you! I think the camera and lenses are doing a lot of the work. :-) I was using my fancy new 135mm f2 lens which makes it a lot easier to keep the DoF shallow. I think it was set at around f2.5 for most of these shots which makes makes the out of focus areas quite blurry. The camera nerds raved about the "bokeh" about this particular lens, which I never really cared about before, but it does seem awfully nice.
